How to swiftkit!

This guide is kinda copied.
1.0 - The Basics
Ok, by now you should have swiftkit open and have a page like this Click "Launch SwiftKit" and it will update, this may take a while. If you're having trouble, select a different server from the drop down list. After it has updates you will get a screen like this. Set up a new profile, or stick with Default, all of them work the same. The only difference is wether you have a password to get in to SwiftKit or not.
After you have your profile click "Use Selected" and the main window will pop up, it should look a bit like this. Thats the basics done ^.^ Well done if you've reached it so far, if not leave a post saying what you got stuck with and I'll try and update it to be more clear on that area

2.0 - Where it gets interesting
Well, so far you can launch SwiftKit, congrats. Now you need to learn why this would be better to play RuneScape on than Internet Explorer or Firefox. First of all, we have the built in notepad.
Why is this usefull over, say word pad? It auto-saves as you type, say you had to remember lyrics for a RSMV, or wanted to log a colection of pictures without a text file that (if your computer crashes) lose alot of work? It would help alot then. As for me, i use it to help me remember IRC codes and lyrics to songs that i need to know.
Next, is the IRC client that is built in! This means you can talk to people on runescape and play the game at the same time! Wait.. isnt that what pm and clan chat is for?
Well the simple answer is no. In runescape you could be muted, you could want to talk without a censor (With friendly, active users that everyone here knows; including myself.) You can use scripts such as RuneScript to track your gains, check whats your closest level and lots of fun commands that you can use too. The commands are easy to remember and you can always use them.
An example, using Runescript to track my weekly gains and check my magic level+Rank
(03:13:58) <@`Zeldy> !magic
(03:13:58) -[PT]RuneScript- *** [ ZELDA_BOI ]: [magic] lvl: 99 | exp: 14,008,267 (107% of 99) | rank: 10,100
(03:14:41) <@`Zeldy> !track
(03:14:43) -[PT]RuneScript- *** [ TRACKER ]: [All] exp gains for Zelda Boi in last 1wk: Overall(+2) +404,630 | Att(99) +31,194 | Def(94) +123,495 | Str(99) +72,656 | HP(99) +79,351 | Range(93) +9,046 | Magic(99) +34,319 | Fletch(85) +3,330 | Fish'n(66) +650 | Agil(64) +642 | Thief(64) +50 | Runecraft(58->60) +49,045 | Summ(80) +852
Simple, fast, easy and fun.
Next, is the guides!
Now, almost all of us has needed a guide at one point in their life, a hard quest - the fight caves - tresure trail clue help etc! this has ALL of it in one small, simple place! From the price guide, ge price checker Username avalability checker Combat calculator Everything! and its all legal.
This one doesn't really need an explanation, you click on what you want; and you get it. Simple.
The last one, in this section, is the timers. A gravestone timer (Helpful if you die) a general timer, a counter for slayer tasks everything really.
This one is straight forward, Gravestone timer, counter, stopwatch and a countdown timer, they all work with ease and you shouldn't have any problems here, if you do, leave a post and ill explain it further.
Well, thats a few of the things SwiftKit offers, now on to the more advanced stuff. If you have made it this far, congrats Come in the channel #rsmdb from now on if you decide to use swiftkit

3.0 - The Harder stuff
The stats lookup, We have the high scores why do we need this?
Simple, if you're PKing, do you have time to load the highscores? If your at DK's and want to check someone's magic level, but are afraid to die? Simply put their name in and hit enter, voil?. One high score lookup done while not looking away from runescape.
Right next to the stats lookup, theres another lookup, or 5. There's an item, a member list, a clan list, ge price check monster lookup etc.
Its handy while 'scaping to say the least, check ge prices from abbysal demon's, see what clan your friend is in, while they are off line and you can't ask. Does an abby demon have 100 hp or 150? i forgot! No fear, one click and help is here.

4.0 - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Isn't Swiftswich against jagex rules? I'm sure it is!
? A: Yes, and no. SwiftSwitch is against jagex rules, SwiftKit Isn't Jagex has a strict guideline for whats aloud and what isnt, The guidelines are as followed.
Jagex
www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=2077
- Rule 7
2. What type of third party software is NOT allowed?
This includes, but is not limited to the following third party software:
1
. Software that attempts to communicate directly with our game worlds.
2
. Software that monitors, modifies or decrypts the communications between our game applets and our game worlds.
3
. Software that generates input to our game applets. This includes software that automatically moves the mouse pointer or generates mouse clicks or key presses.
4
. Modified or replacement versions of our game applets. Reverse engineering our game applets is strictly prohibited. Using a modified version of our game applets is not permitted for any reason. Third party software that displays pages/content from our website(s), and that has specific features (i.e. toolkits) must not be used to access our website unless that software conforms with all of the other rules, and the following additional rules:
5
. It must not encourage rule-breaking or endanger users.
6
. It must not contain adverts or links to websites that encourage rule-breaking or endanger users.
7
. It must not automatically make repeated page/content requests from our website or otherwise make excessively bandwidth intensive requests from our servers (each page/content request should only be in direct response to a user request each time).
8
. It must not bypass the normal navigation of our website for users wishing to reach the game worlds. The software should initially only point at the front page of our websites, and should require the user to navigate through the website normally to reach the game worlds. The software must not contain or acquire direct links to our "Select a world" page, or to our game world pages, or to the applet.
9
. It must not hide or encourage the hiding of any of the adverts on our website. To avoid encouraging users to hide the advert above the game the pane displaying pages from our website must default to at least 630 pixels high (if viewed on a screen with a resolution higher than 800x600), and it must not be possible to resize it to less height than that. i.e. the page must be displayed in such a way that both the game and advert are fully visible at the same time.
10
. It must not attempt to make it easier to enter a busy game world than it would be for users not using the software. It must not allow worlds marked as 'FULL' on the world select page to be selected. It must not contain any features to make it easier to enter or monitor busy worlds.
11
. If the software has its own integrated chat feature, separate from the game chat, it should make it very clear to users that this chat is not part of our games and is not official, endorsed or moderated by Jagex in any way. Furthermore, this chat should still be moderated (just not by us), and the moderators should not allow chat which infringes our rules of conduct. To avoid confusion with the official game chat, moderators of the external chat should not be indicated with a silver or gold crown. If the chat is IRC based, then the software should only allow access to IRC channels which conform with the above rules.
In any case, the use of such software is not recommended. We do not recommend the use of ANY 3rd party software as it is potentially extremely dangerous. Please be aware that there is software out there which claims to be a cool add-on, but actually installs a keylogger on your computer and steals your password! You should also be aware that there is dangerous software around that won't necessarily be spotted by your anti-virus software. Scanning downloads is, of course, a very good idea, but it still doesn't 100% eliminate the risk.
This, follows all of the rules.
Q: Is this safe? exe's are dangerous!
? A: Ok, no one talked like that even on the internet, but yes it is safe. I've been using swiftswich/kit for 2+ years, and have never been hacked. Its been scaned several times and you're welcome to do it yourself for peice of mind.
Q: Dude swiftkit irc sucks get mirc
? A: That isn't a question, get the
****
off of this thread.
Q: Can i ask a question to be put up here?
? A: Leave a post and I'll add it.

Ending Note:
SwiftKit, is a valuable tool for runescapers, it helps with everything possable and it keeps giving. You don't have to use it, or even download it, but that's what this guide is for.
